這是美國發行的二次世界大戰50周年的紀念郵票，由10枚郵票當中，串成一段故事，且郵票的編排是按照事件發生的先後順序，由左上自右下，分兩排介紹。如1941年的ˇ第一排第四枚為美國總統羅斯福和英國首相邱吉爾於當年8月簽屬大西洋憲章的歷史紀錄。且最令海外華人郵迷興奮的是，第一枚郵票所敘述的史實，是當時中美兩國攜手合作建築的滇緬公路(Burma Road)，這條公路對我國大戰時期的後勤補給，居功厥偉，郵票上也以Lifeline to China(通往中國的生命線)，來點出它的重要性。最後，郵游其中，能知道很多的歷史典故，去明白歷史，能使我們對於一些事務有不同的看法。
